Article 1 – What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file placed on the user's device (computer, smartphone, tablet) when visiting a website. It allows the web server to recognise the device on a subsequent visit and to store certain browsing information.

The contact form incorporates the Cloudflare Turnstile anti-bot service (Cloudflare, Inc.), intended to protect the form against automated submissions. For this purpose, this third-party service may place a strictly necessary cookie or access technical information on the device. This security mechanism, which is exempt from consent, does not pursue any advertising or audience-measurement purpose.

These cookies are not subject to your prior consent.

This website does not use any audience-measurement, advertising or personalisation cookies. No audience analysis tool (such as Google Analytics or Matomo) is deployed.

2.2 Social media and sharing cookies

The website contains links to the LinkedIn profile of Maître LAGLASSE and to the directory of the French National Bar Council (CNB). As these are simple hyperlinks, no cookie is placed by this website in this respect: the user is redirected to the third-party website, which then applies its own cookie policy, over which the Firm exercises no control.

2.3 Artur'In widget (social media and newsletter)

The website footer may display, at your request, the latest social media posts and newsletters of the firm, by means of the third-party service Artur'In (operated by Artur'In). This widget is NOT loaded by default: the Artur'In script only runs after your explicit consent, by clicking "Allow and display". Until you click, no Artur'In script or cookie is loaded.

Once activated, this widget may set third-party cookies and establish connections to Artur'In and to the relevant social media platforms in order to display the content. These operations are governed by the privacy and cookie policies of Artur'In and of the relevant social networks, over which the Firm exercises no control. Your choice is stored in your browser; you can revoke it by clearing your browser's site data.

Article 3 – Strictly necessary cookies and absence of a consent banner

Insofar as this website does not, by default, place any non-essential cookie (the Artur'In widget in Article 2.3 only being loaded after your explicit consent), no prior consent is required for mere browsing. The strictly necessary cookies described in Article 2.1 are retained only for the duration of the browsing session or, for the preferences cookie, for a reasonable technical period.

4.1 Absence of a consent banner

This website does not, by default, place any non-essential cookie: no global consent-collection banner is therefore necessary. The only third-party content liable to set cookies is the Artur'In widget described in Article 2.3, which is loaded only after your explicit consent (clicking "Allow and display"). This policy will be updated if new tools are added (audience measurement, advertising, other third-party widgets).
