Article 9 – Governing law

This website and this legal notice are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, and failing an amicable agreement, the French courts shall have sole jurisdiction, subject to the protective rules applicable to consumers.

By way of exception, disputes relating to the amount and recovery of the lawyer's fees fall within the exclusive jurisdiction of the President (bâtonnier) of the Paris Bar, subject to appeal before the First President of the Paris Court of Appeal, in accordance with Articles 174 et seq. of Decree No. 91-1197 of 27 November 1991 organising the legal profession.
